ROH TV Review (7/3/15)

The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) vs The House of Truth (ROH TV Champ Jay Lethal and J Diesel w/ Truth Martini)

This was an ok match but a normal tag match. There wasn’t anything too noteworthy other than the Knights of Red Dawn helping out Lethal and Diesel win the match. The KRD’s identity is still mysterious to this point.

Top Prospect Tournament Finals: Donovan Dijak vs Will Ferrera

This was a pretty good match. The match started off with Ferrera trying overpower Dijak. This did not work and Dijak gained momentum after hitting some power moves. During the course of the match, Stokley Hathaway, Veda Scott, Truth Martini,Jimmy Jacobs, and Brutal Bob Evans made their way down to the ring at separate times. Dijak hit a moonsault to the outside on Ferrera. Dijak went for Feast Your Eyes but Ferrera countered it into a schoolboy pin. Dijak kicked out and eventually hit the Feast Your Eyes for the win. After the Dijak won Hathaway, Veda, Jacobs, Martini, and Evans tried to convince him to join their separate groups.

The Decade (Adam Page and BJ Whitmer) vs ROH Tag Champs reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O Reilly)

The match began fast as The Decade attacked reDRagon before the bell rang but reDRagon turned the tide quickly as they hit suicide dives on Whitmer and Page. The bell rang and reDRagon controlled the pace while isolating Page from Whitmer. The Decade gained momentum after Whitmer came into the match as he tossed both members out of the ring. Whitmer then hit a powerful slam. Bobby Fish tagged in and then there was some classic reDRagon offense. reDRagon won and retained their titles as O Reilly made Page tap out with the arm bar.

After the match, Whitmer threw water on Steve Corino and Corino went in to fight Whitmer but Corino’s son, Colby Corino, ran out. Colby seemed to be siding with The Decade. Steve Corino then just walked to the locker room.
