ROH TV Review 21/3/15

reDRagon’s Bobby Fish vs Roderick Strong

This was a good match. It was interesting to see Fish in singles action because it does not happen very often. I’m thinking maybe that reDRagon will be splitting soon so O’Reilly can move to the World Title picture. One thing that surprised me was
that Fish hit a moonsault on Strong. Strong ultimately won the match with a Sick Kick and then the End of Heartache.

ROH TV Title Match: 2015 Top Prospect Tournament Winner Donovan Dijak vs Jay Lethal (c) w/ Truth Martini and J Diesel

This wasn’t even a match as Martini was making his cases that Lethal is thegreatest champ in ROH today and he is the greatest manager in ROH today. Martini offers for Dijak to join the House of Truth. Dijak agrees by shaking the hand of Martini. Before the House of Truth could leave, “The Peacock” Dalton Castle comes out. Castle challenges Lethal for the TV title as he lounged on both of boys that came out with him, which was hilarious. Lethal begins to the leave but Castle says that he’ll have to challenge ROH World Champ Jay Briscoe because he’s a real champ. This set Lethal off as he ran in and attacked Castle.

ROH TV Title Match: “The Peacock” Dalton Castle vs Jay Lethal (c) w/ Truth Martini, Donovan Dijak and J Diesel

This was an entertaining but quick match. I would love to see Castle in ROH a lot more. One thing that I really liked that Castle did was Lethal tried to throw him back in the ring but spinned back around and then hurricanad Lethal on the floor. Later in the match, Castle was pulled out ring was hit by Feast Your Eyes from Dijak when the referee was turned around. Lethal then the Lethal Injection to retain his TV title.

reDRagon/KRD Segment

A promo then aired that started with reDRagon but he buffering and had a member of the KRD talking about how they will make their presence felt. I am not really into the whole KRD thing.

ROH World Title Match: Jimmy Jacobs vs Jay Briscoe (c)

This was a good match. The match began with both men just throwing punches at each other. The match then just taken to the outside and Jacobs hit a backwards diving ace crusher on the floor. Towards the end of the match Jacobs got out of the ring to contemplate leaving or using the belt to help him but decided not to and got back in the ring fired up. He then hit a flurry of his signature moves including backwards diving ace crusher, right into a sliced bread #2, a spear, and then the End Time. Jay woke up just in time while in the End Time and retained his title with a Jay Driller after a series of flash pins. After the match, both men shook hands.
