After 8 days of fantastic competition things are really heating up in both Blocks with some really shocking results, after back to back defeats for Ishimori it left things wide open for Will Ospreay to capitalise but he suffered a shock loss to Bushi. Tiger Mask and Flip Gordon sit atop of Block A with 4 matches remaining. It will be interesting to see if they remain there on Sunday when Block A action wraps up. As for Block B everything is wide open and very much up for grabs with nobody other than Dragon Lee being particularly consistent, but he was unsuccessful in his last match and that opened things up for a very compelling final stretch.

As I’m writing this Block A action is taking place right now (Tuesday 29th May) and will air on delay within the next 24 hours on NJPW World. The tournament matches on that show will be,

Tiger Mask vs Taiji Ishimori
ACH vs Bushi
Flip Gordon vs Yoh
Will Ospreay vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru

As for Block B that goes down Wednesday 30th May and should be available to watch by the early hours of Thursday the 4 BOSJ contests on that event will be as followed,

Dragon Lee vs Marty Scurll
Ryusuke Taguchi vs Sho
Chris Sabin vs Hiromu Takahashi
Kushida vs El Desperado

I’ll be back with a more in depth look at these shows in the final few days of competition following all the twists and turns as they happen in the lead up to next Monday’s final.
