1)  Best of the Super Juniors – A Block: IWGP Junior Tag Champion SHO (4) vs Tiger Mask (4)

Winner: SHO (2) after Tiger scored with a Jumping Knee Strike, dropping SHO to the mat, he pulled him up for a Tiger Bomb, but scored with a Knee Strike to the face and followed with a Basemenet Roundhouse Kick and then a Sit Out Tiger Driver, holding on for a 2. Tiger pulled SHO up for a Tiger Suplex, but SHO overpowered him and pulled Tiger in, hitting a nasty Straight Jack Piledriver and both went down. SHO fired up and charged, Tiger scored with a Rolling Solebutt and fired a Roundhouse Kick, but SHO ducked and came back with a Lariat, which Tiger ducked, only for SHO to come back with a BIG Left Arm Lariat! SHO fired up, hit the ropes, only for Tiger to counter with a Crucifix Rollup for a 2, Tiger hit the ropes and SHO leveled him with a Lariat, before using The Lumbar Check to pick up a close 2. SHO pulled Tiger back up, hit The Shock Arrow and covered for the 3. (This was really damn good! Tiger mask playing the aggressive, agitated veteran was a great performance and SHO was just on the money. Continuing to hit that second gear and really push the tempo and pace late in the match. RECOMMENDED!)

 2)  Best of the Super Juniors – A Block: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay (8) vs Ren Narita (0)

Winner: Ospreay (2) after Will flipped out of a Belly to Belly, landing on his feet and shocking Ren, who paused and then charged, right into a High Roundhouse Kick to the head from Will! So Will pulled Ren up for The Storm Breaker, but Narita countered out with a Backslide for a quick 2, when Will popped up, ANNIHILATED Ren with quick Kicks to the head and face, catching Ren’s face with his foot, as it fell, and lifting him up, before hitting The Os Cutter and covering for the 3! (Bad Ass! Narita was on fire and Ospreay was the gasoline to light this Korakuen Hall crowd on fire!)

3)  Best of the Super Juniors – B Block: “The Villain” Marty Scurll (4) w/Brody King vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru (4)

Winner: Scurll (2) after Kanemaur took a sip of the Sakitori Whiskey and went to spit it in Scurll’s eyes, only for Marty to open his Umbrella, blocking the Sakitori Surprise and quickly follow with a School Boy for a 2. Kanemaru grabbed the Umbrella, as Scurll took a sip of the Sakitori! Kanemaru started at Marty, but the Referee stopped him, allowing Marty to use his own Sakitori Surprise and then a Backslide, but Kanemaru kicked out! Marty pulled him up and used The Black Plague to pick up the victory. (Good fun, shenanigan filled contest, but Kanemaru is a master and Scurll is good against the right opponents.)

4) Best of the Super Juniors – A Block: DOUKI (2) vs “The Sniper of the Skies” Robbie Eagles (6)

Winner: Eagles (2) after DOUKI spiked Eagles with a Slingshot DDT, he looked to follow with Suplex de la Luna, but Eagles countered with a Rolling Prawn Hold, which DOUKI kicked out of, sending Eagles into the corner, before scoring with an elbow and then used a fancy Knuckle Lock Hip Toss, rolling into a cradle, which Eagles kicked out of. DOUKI faked a punch, Eagles dropped down, leading to DOUKI using a Sunset Flip, which Robbie countered, but DOUKI held on into a cradle for a 2. They popped up, Eagles scored with a Superkick, high Roundhouse Kick and then an Enziguri, dropping DOUKI to his knees, before hitting the ropes, only DOUKI leveled him with a Lariat! DOUKI pulled Eagles up and hooked for Suplex de la Luna, but Eagles countered into The Turbo Backpack and held on, getting a 2! Eagles quickly goes to the top, scoring with a 450 Splash to DOUKI’s leg, before applying The Ron Miller Special, forcing the Tap Out! (Good match. DOUKI is at his best when he has the power advantage over his opponent, because his grimy Japanese Indy work is exactly what is should be. Eagles is really tearing it up and the Babyface potential is coming through in spades. I cannot wait for Eagles vs Ospreay)

5) Best of the Super Juniors – B Block: TAKA Michinoku (0) vs “The Dragon” Shingo Takagi (10)

Winner: Shingo (2) after unloading with a series of strikes to TAKA, Shingo rocked him with a Lariat, only for TAKA to come right back with an Enziguri, but Shingo overpowered him and took TAKA down with a Lariat, before hitting the ropes and scoring with The Pumping Bomber. Shingo recovered a little and went to pick up TAKA, only TAKA used an Eye Poke and then a rollup, which Shingo countered, powered TAKA up and scored with The Last of the Dragon, holding on for the victory! (Nice and solid! Shingo was able to overcome more trickery and a last ditch attack from TAKA, continuing to show that The Dragon cannot be tamed.)

6)  Best of the Super Juniors – B Block: Bandido (4) vs Ryusuke Taguchi (8)

Winner: Bandido (2) after Taguchi hooked for Dodon, Bandido countered out, only Taguchi looked to keep control, but Bandido powered him into a Torture Rack and scored with a modified Go To Sleep. Bandido shook the cob-webs loose, as Taguchi pulled himself up on the ropes, before hitting The 21 Plex (almost lost it) and covering for 3. (Fun match. Bandido’s power was on display, countering Taguchi and ending the momentum. Taguchi continues to shine in his opportunities, bringing his unapologetic fun to matches.)

7)  Best of the Super Juniors -A Block: “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham (6) vs “Bone Soldier” Taiji Ishimori (8)

Winner: Taiji (2) after Gresham locked in The Octopus, trapping Ishimori’s arm, as he reached to the ropes and wrenching in the hold, until Taiji just threw him body back and crushed Gresham underneath! Taiji recovered a little, before blasting Gresham into the corner with a Shotgun Dropkick, charging back in with a Double Knee Splash in the corner, before using The Bloody Cross to put Gresham down for the 3. (This was a really good, yet quick match. Taiji and Gresham traded some REAL slick sequences on the mat, Gresham has won over the NJPW crowd with his incredible skill, selfless attitude and never say die fighting spirit!)

8)  Best of the Super Juniors – B Block: IWGP Tag Team Champion YOH (6) vs BUSHI (6)

Winner: BUSHI (2) after BUSHI blasted YOH with The Rewind Kick, YOH rebounded into the ropes and charged out, only for BUSHI to catch him with a Lung Blower, rocking YOH against the ropes, where BUSHI trapped YOH’s right leg in the ropes and used another Lung Blower! BUSHI limped to YOH, before pulling him up and using a Canadian Destroyer to put YOH down for a 2 count. BUSHI crawled to the corner, pulled himself up, lifting his right leg with his hands to get up, before catching YOH with MX and covering for the 3. (This was fantastic. BUSHI and YOH match up so damn well and really pull off their stuff with smooth effectiveness. The call-backs and counters during the match, show that they’ve really learned from each other’s battles. What a bad ass finishing stretch.)

9) Best of the Super Juniors – A Block: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee vs Titan

Referee Red Shoes was give a Kaimatachi themed mask from Dragon, which he wore as the Luchadores posed with a Mexico flag and took a photo! Red Shoes kept the mask on for the match, until he got blown up and had to take it off.

Winner: Lee (2) after Lee blocked Titan’s Run Up Frankensteiner, knocking him into Tree of Woe position, where Lee flew off and crushed him with The Ghetto Stomp, quickly covering for a 2. Lee pulled Titan up for Desnucadora, but Titan escaped over the back, Lee hit the ropes, but Titan followed him in and hit a BIG Spinning Headscissors into a SPIKE DDT and covered, but Dragon kicked out! Titan took a little time to recover, before charging at Lee, who side-stepped and used a quick German Suplex, rolling Titan to his feet, where Lee exploded into Titan’s face with a Pump Knee. Lee went for a Double Greco-Roman Knuckle Lock, but Titan used the momentum to pop up and drive Lee down with a Canadian Destroyer, only for Lee to use the momentum, hitting the ropes and BLASTING Titan with a Knee Strike and both men were down! The crowd was really into this match, as Lee pulled Titan up for Desnucadora, only Titan escaped and hooked a Reverse DDT, pulling Lee into a Death Valley Bomb and European Clutching back for a CLOSE 2! Titan popped up and hit the ropes, Lee stopped him and used a Pump Knee to the face to set up a Brainbuster for a 2! Lee charged back with a Knee Strike, followed with a Poison Rana and then a SLIDING KNEE to the face, before covering , for another 2! Lee pulled down his knee pad and DESTROYED Titan’s face with a Knee Strike, quickly following with Desnucadora, finally putting Titan down for the 3!  (Really awesome, high impact Lucha spectacular, with incredible shows of respect and love. But the ultimate sign of respect, seeing these guys absolutely FUCKING BRING IT with their aerial assaults, strikes and moves! Korakuen loved every moment of this! RECOMMENDED!)

10)  Best of the Super Juniors – B Block: Rocky Romero (2) vs British Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion “The Headbanger” El Phantasmo (10)

Winner: Rocky (2) after Rocky leveled Phantasmo with a Lariat, the timekeeper called the 25-minute mark, just as Rocky hit the ropes and connected with another Lariat, this time covering, but Phantasmo kicked out! Rocky fired up and charged into a Running Shiranui, before covering, but Phantasmo kicked out, sending Rocky into Red Shoes! Phantasmo went for a Low Blow, but Rocky caught it and dropped right into a Cross Arm Breaker, which Phantasmo immediately Tapped Out in, causing Rocky to release the hold and see that Red Shoes was still down! Phantasmo caught Rocky with the Low Blow and used an Inside Cradle for a CLOSE 2! Phantasmo quickly went to the top and connected with a Flying Splash, holding on, but Rocky kicked out and Phantasmo landed on Red Shoes! Phantasmo quickly slid out of the ring, grabbed his British Title and slid it in, he swung it at Rocky, who ducked, Phantasmo threw the Title to Rocky, who then threw it back to Phantasmo and fell to the mat! Red Shoes came to, seeing the situation in front of him and immediately questioned Phantasmo, until Rocky snuck in with a School Boy for a CLOSE 2! Phantasmo charged, Rocky countered with a Backslide for a 2, before catching Phantasmo with a boot and looking to follow up, when Phantasmo scored with his own boot to the gut and hooked for CR2, which Rocky countered with a Frankensteiner pin for an INCREDIBLE 2! 2-minutes left, Rocky explodes out with a Jumping Knee Strike, follows with a big punch and then goes for a Shiranui, but transitions into an Inside Cradle for a 2, but ROCKY holds on to the Cross Arm Breaker, battling for control, taking Phantasmo to the mat and LEG DROPPING Phantasmo’s face, until he was able to fully extend and FORCE Phantasmo to TAP OUT! (INCREDIBLE ATOMSPHERE! What a great match this was, Rocky Romero is absolutely incredibly in front of this Korakuen crowd. I cannot think of a more deserving man to have THIS SPOTLIGHT in this tournament, beautiful stuff! 28 minutes of great professional wrestling! I loved every minute of this match and I really cannot RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!)

Roppongi 3k comes to the ring and celebrates with Rocky, as the entire Korakuen Hall crowd looses their minds!
