UK Wrestling Round-Up (18/01/15)

GOOD Wrestling have announced the following for their “#1 Good One” show which takes place at The Craufurd Arms, Milton Keynes on January 29th as we’ll see; The London Riots (James Davis & Rob Lynch) vs Cy Gregory & Terry Itis, Chris Tyler vs Stixx, ‘Wild Boar’ Mike Hitchman vs ‘Pastor’ William Eaver and Doug Williams vs Joseph Conners.

BWE: British Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Denison Hall, Leeds on January 24th with “RE:LOADED” and will feature; ‘Armbar Superstar’ Dan James putting this Testing Ground Cup on the line in an Open Challenge but with the stipulation that they don’t wear a mask as his last match against El Excentrico proved to be a little too much for him, the return of the lovely Violet O’Hara, David Graves will take on Alexander Henry, Little Miss Roxxy will make her in ring debut for BWE Bombshells, the ‘Liverpool Lasses’ Lizzy Styles & Xia Brookside will make their debut and also your BWE Champion ‘Primate’ Jason Prime is set to appear.

The “Everyone Must Stand Alone” event which will be held at The BAWA Club, Bristol on February 6th by the guys at Pro Wrestling Chaos looks to be shaping up as an awesome night of wrestling when we’ll see; Johnny Kidd vs Pete Dunne, Grado vs former Champion Mike Bird, ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster vs Panda Cub, Gideon vs Big Grizzly, ‘Wild Boar’ Mike Hitchman will defend the King Of Chaos Championship against #1 Contender Jeckel and we will also see ‘The California Caveman’ Trevor Lee in action.

TNA’s Bram will take on current GFW Global Champion Nick Aldis in singles competition at Pro Evolution Wrestling’s “Live In Bristol” on March 5th. This event will take place at The Merchants Sports Centre, Bristol.

It was a goodnight for The Burial (David Graves & BA Rose) and also ‘The Ugandan Warrior’ Nsereko this past weekend when they successfully retained their Championships at Grapple Wrestling‘s “Live At Fiddlers” show in York. The Tag Champs defeated the team of El Ligero & JC Thunder and Nsereko was able to keep hold of the belt when he faced his toughest opponent to date, CJ Banks. Elsewhere; Liam Lazarus, Terry Isit, Martin Kirby, Dom Black and Danny Binks were all victorious in their singles matches.

Toni Storm teaming with Lizzy Styles to take on Lana Austin & Carmen Rose is the latest match to be signed for Just Do Wrestling‘s “Temple Of Do” show which takes place from the Windle Labour Club, St. Helens on February 7th. Other matches scheduled will see Champion Bubblegum defend his title in a 3-Way Match against T-Bone & Jack Gallagher and we will get to see a Tables Match when ‘Liverpool’s No.1’ Zack Gibson & Dan Evans team together to battle Dem Tellin Boys.

International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom will present “Future #15” this weekend, 23rdfrom the Selsdon Hall, Croydon and will showcase some of the best on the UK scene. We will see; Rampage Brown vs Donovan Dijak, IPW:UK Women’s Champion Tennessee Honey defending against Elizabeth, a Rumble Match featuring stars from now and the future, Scott Star & IPW:UK All-England Champion, Sammy Smooth collectively known as ‘Smoothstar’ will challenge the IPW:UK Tag Team Champions DND (Danny Duggan & Cieran Donnelly) and finally the return of Rosie Leigh as she takes on debuting Bea in singles competition.

Will Ospreay, Chris Masters, Tom Dawkins and Mr. Anderson are all set to appear for the company at their “Supershow 2” event which will take place at The Casino Rooms, Rochester

Empress Pro have added two more singles matches to their upcoming “Never Say Never Again” show which comes to us from The Art4Every1 Centre, High Wycombe on January 23rd as we’ll see Toni Storm face Courtney and Lizzy Styles will take on Xia Brookside. Already signed for the night will see; Jinny vs Kira Fox, Too Lush (Chardonnay & Nadia Sapphire) vs Parma Violets (Violet Vendetta & Violet O’Hara) and Bars & Stripes (Rhia O’Reilly & Addy Starr) will go up against the Queens Of Wrestling (Pollyanna & Katey Harvey).

Absolute Wrestling will bring their “Wrestling Isn’t Dead” show to The Linskell Centre, North Shields on February 6th where; Micky The Dragon faces Mihai, Mikey Whiplash goes one-on-one with MVK Valkabious and the “King Of The North” winner, Liam Lazarus will battle ‘Liverpool’s No.1’ Zack Gibson. Also scheduled to appear will be; HT Drake, ‘Primate’ Jason Prime, Little Miss Roxxy, Matt Myers and Alex Cavanagh.

In just under 2 weeks Main Event Wrestling will present their “Dawn Of Destruction” show from the Innisfree Social & Sports Club, Newcastle Upon Tyne, January 29th and what a card they’ve assembled for the fans as we will get to witness; Loco Ryder vs Kenny Williams, The New Age Kliq (BT Gunn & Chris Rewfrew) vs AJ Anderson & Assassin, a #1 Contenders Match between El Ligero, Prince Ameen & Liam Lazarus, Drake & The Dragon will defend their MEW Tag Team Titles against Adam Christ & Mihai and Martin Kirby will hope to become the new MEW Champion when he takes on ‘Primate’ Jason Prime.

PROGRESS Wrestling present “Chapter 25: Chat Sh*t Get Banged” from The Electric Ballroom, Camden, London on January 24th and will feature; Michael Dante vs Rob Lynch with the winner picking the stipulation for “Chapter 27”, a #1 Contenders Match between Mark Haskins and ‘Liverpool’s No.1’ Zack Gibson with the winner facing the PROGRESS Champion at “Chapter 26”, a fantastic 4-Way Match between Pollyanna, Toni Storm, Jinny and Dahlia Black, ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster will be in singles action against Paul Robinson, The PROGRESS Tag Team Champions, The Origin (Nathan Cruz & El Ligero) will put their titles on the line when they take on the team of F.S.U. (Eddie Dennis & Mark Andrews) and PROGRESS Champion Will Ospreay will defend again ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll.

British Empire Wrestling will present “The Empire Rising” from the Tooting Tram & Social Club, Mitcham on February 21st and will feature the following; Nina Samuels in singles competition against Dahlia Black, a Tag Team Match between The Commonwealth Alliance (Gianni De La Vaette & Don Pedro) and The Buffet Club, Nixon Newell will defend her BEW Women’s Championship against Dragonita and Champion Rob Cage will put his BEW Heavyweight Title on the line when he faces challenger Theodore Powers in a Ladder Match.

BEW are also proud to announce that they’ll be part of a MASSIVE tour which will feature 5 different promotions from around the world. RCW (Revolution Championship Wrestling) (Spain), Stardom (Japan), ABC Catch (France) and WWS Mexico (Mexico) will come together to present “Stardom Europe”. BEW with Stardom will host the 3rd and final day of the tour from the Tooting Tram & Social Club.
