DND (Danny Duggan & Cieran Donnelly), The Justice Duo & The Ruckers in the first Scrum Match, Chuck Mambo def. TK Cooper, Sid Scala pinned Mountain Stew, Pollyanna was victorious after defeating Chakara, Xia Brookside & Tennessee Honey in the Women’s Gauntlet Match and is now the #1 contender for the Women’s Championship, the Team of Smooth Star (IPW:UK All-England Champion Sammy Smooth & Scott Star) won the 2nd Scrum Match of the night by defeating the teams Acid, Mathfight & Strikebeard, ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm def. Maverick Mayhew and congratulations go to Kyle Ashmore who became the winner of Future Battle Royal.

It was another amazing atmosphere as RISE England crowned their first ever Champion at “Ascent” this past Friday. His name…’Primate’ Jason Prime, however his title reign was cut short as we discovered that Dr. Leonardo Darwin had become the new commissioner and made a match with Saxton Huxley there and then. Prime had just faced Big Joe Darwin in a Last Man Standing Match and also took a brick to the head helping Saxton to become the new Champion. It now looks like an alliance has formed with Dr. Darwin, ‘Pastor’ William Eaver & Joe plus Danny O’Doherty who laid down for Joe earlier in the tournament. Not only that, the fans were treated to an incredible match with Nina Samuels beating Dragonita and we had Little Miss Roxxy acting as Special Referee.

PROGRESS Wrestling presented “Chapter 28: Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want” from The O2 Ritz, Manchester this past Sunday and what an incredible card they put on for the fans; The Dunne Brothers (Pete & Damian Dunne) def. The Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate), Damon Moser def. Ashton Smith to advance to the Natural PROGRESSion Series Final, where he will face ‘Pastor’ William Eaver, Jinny def. Toni Storm with help from Elizabeth, Mark Haskins def. ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster, T-Bone def. Big Daddy Walter in their first Atlas Championship Match and has now earned his first 2 points of the tournament, Tommy End answered Marty Scurll’s Non-Title Open Challenge and pinned him cleanly. He left the title laying across the Champion and PROGRESS management have now announced End will get his shot at Scurll’s title at Chapter 29. Finally your PROGRESS Tag Champions The Origin (‘The Mexican Sensation’ El Ligero & Nathan Cruz) retained their titles against F.S.U. (Mark Andrews & Eddie Dennis) in a No DQ Match with the win coming after Cruz hit Andrews with a Tombstone onto a chair.

BWE: British Wrestling Entertainment presented “The Battle Of Belle Isle” this past Saturday from the Belle Isle WMC where we saw debuts and incredible talent working the UK wrestling scene at the moment. Just before the show started the lovely Jennie B who was the ring announcer for the show informed the fans that Kris Travis had passed away and had a 10 bell salute for him while the wrestlers surrounded the ring.

Before the match Liam stated that he’d been cheated out of the BWE Title and if Sexy Kev beat Prime in the Main Event then he would hope he could have first shot. Liam Lazarus def. Prince Ameen (accompanied by his spokesman Benjamin Rock & Danny Binks who was his Bodyguard) however during the match both Rock and Binks got involved which then continued after the match. Xia Brookside won her debut against Little Miss Roxxy to become the #1 Contender for the Bombshells Title and will get that opportunity at BWE’s 1st Anniversary show held on Sunday, May 22nd, Royal Armouries, Leeds at SMASHCON. David Graves & Ace Matthews teamed together to face Tag Champions Drake & Dragon (HT Drake & Micky The Dragon) but were unable to get the win. Just to point out that Drake & Dragon’s pin was beautifully done when we saw a German Suplex by Dragon while a roll up at the same time by Drake. You need to see it to appreciate how good it looked. Rocky Future continued his quest to become the most hated man in BWE when he faced El Matinee (JG Nash in a mask) in an entertaining match were Nash secured yet another win over Future. What’s Rocky’s “future” and will Nash continue to chalk up the wins? Next we saw BWE: Bombshells Champion Ruby Summers defending her title against the returning Toni Storm in a match that was too close to call as both dominated, however Ruby was able to get the pin and will now face Xia Brookside. In the Main Event ‘Primate’ Jason Prime informed the crowd that HE was making his match with Sexy Kev a Triple Threat and ‘The Armbar Superstar’ Dan James came out to the ring. Even though this was a 2-on-1 handicap match, James did try to pin Prime on a couple of occasions which didn’t go down well with the Champ. Prime ultimately gained momentum and was able to spear Kev for the win. After the match Prince Ameen came to the ring and offered Sexy Kev to be part of his group as he sees potential and will reward him with money but Kev declined which annoyed the Prince, something tells me that this isn’t the last of this.
