UK Wrestling Round-Up (11/01/16)

HXC Wrestling are proud to announce that on February 19th from The Ruby Lounge, Manchester they will present “An Evening With Tommy Dreamer: The Innovator Of Violence” which will feature a Q&A with the man himself and will be hosted by wrestling fan and stand-up Chris Brooker and HXC ring announcer Matthew Taylor Richards.

TIDAL Championship Wrestling have plenty of cards coming up, most of the posters can be found at the base of the site in the ‘Upcoming Indy Events’ section.

Just Do Wrestling will present “The Temple Of Do” live from the Windle Labour Club, St. Helens on February 7th where we will see Champion Bubblegum defending his title against T-Bone and Jack Gallagher in a 3-Way and’Liverpool’s No.1′ Zack Gibson will team with Dan Evans to take on Dem Tellin Boys in a Tables Match.

BWE: British Wrestling Entertainment (formerly UKWE Wrestling) returns to the Denison Hall, Leeds on Jan 24th when they present their first show of 2016 “RE:LOADED”. Already scheduled to appear will be; ‘Armbar Superstar’ Dan James, JG Nash, Dave Graves and Jason Prime who will be defending his BWE Championship. We will also get to see BWE: British Bombshells in action when Lizzy Styles and Xia Brookside make their debut for the company.

Damian Dunne, Martin Kirby & Lion Kid will compete in a 3-Way Match at Plex Wrestling‘s “Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive & Dodge” show which will be held at Connaught Leisure Centre, Aldershot on February 21st. This match is the second to be signed for the night as we will also see Plex British Champion Jonny Storm take on challenger Chris Brookes.

Alternative Wrestling World are proud to announce that NXT sensation Leva ‘Blue Pants’ Bates will be making her debut for the company at “Rebellion” which will be held at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Brierley Hill on February 27th.

That’s not all guys, as the Luchador Legend that is Juventud Guerrera will also be making his debut as he heads to the company on March 19th for “Breaking Point” which will be held at the Hadley Stadium, Birmingham.

Empress Pro will present their “Never Say Never Again” show from The Arts4Every1 Centre, High Wycombe on January 23rd and we will see; Bars & Stripes (Rhia O’Reilly & Addy Starr) taking on The Queens of Wrestling (Pollyanna & Katey Harvey), Too Lush (Chardonnay & Nadia Sapphire) will face the Parma Violets (Violet Vendetta & Violet O’Hara), Jinny will meet Kira Fox and you will also see Lizzy Styles, Toni Storm and Courtney in action.

Wardust Wrestling League have now included women’s action to their “Ha’Penny Havoc 2” show which will be held at the Dovercourt Caravan Park, Harwich on February 21st when Jinny will take on Jamie Hayter in singles competition. Already set for the night will see Marty Scurll taking on Jonny Storm, James Castle challenges Sha Samuels for the WWL World Championship and The London Riots (James Davis & Rob Lynch) are also set to appear.

The full card for Grapple Wrestling‘s next show at Fibblers, York on January 16th has now been announced and it’s a good one guys. We will get to see; ‘The Dark Cloud’ Sebb Strife take on ‘HotBlooded’ Dom Black, Martin Kirby will tackle ‘The Muscle Cat’ Saxon Huxley, Terry Isit will face ‘Outlaw’ Benjamin Rock, The Burial (David Graves & B.A. Rose) will defend their Tag Team Titles against JC Thunder & ‘The Mexican Sensation’ El Ligero, ‘The Ugandan Warrior’ Nsereko will also defend his Championship against challenger ‘The Pound For Pound Best’ CJ Banks. Liam Lazarus, ‘Dangerous’ Danny Binks and the wrestling legend that is ‘Number One’ Marty Jones will also be making an appearance.

New Generation Wrestling will be coming back to the Pudsey Civic Hall, Pudsey on January 30th for “Full Force” where Nathan Cruz will defend his NGW Undisputed Championship against Scotland’s Lionheart and will also see a #1 Contenders Match between Rampage Brown and ‘Liverpool’s No.1’ Zack Gibson with the winner meeting Nathan Cruz (if he’s still champion) at “Ultimate Showdown”

Speaking of NGW, they have also announced that ‘The Star Attraction’ Mark Haskins and Joe Henry will be the first two participates to be entered into the 20-Man Destiny Rumble which will be held at Liverpool’s Olympia, Liverpool on February 21st.

Revolution Pro Wrestling have added two final matches to their already stacked card for “High Stakes” which will be held at York Hall, Bethnal Green, London on January 16th. Where we will see RPW British Cruiserweight Champion Pete Dunne taking on ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster and The Revolutionists (RPW British Tag Team Champions Sha Samuels & James Castle) and Josh Bodom take on Jimmy Havoc, T-Bone and a mystery partner in a No DQ 6-Man Tag Team Match. The rest of the card looks like this; Doug Williams vs Colt Cobana, Big Damo vs Mike Bailey, Mark Haskins vs ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, a #1 Contenders Match between Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll and finally, Zack Sabre Jr. will challenge ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles for the RPW British Heavyweight Championship. The first three matches have now been added to HOPE Wrestling‘s “Live In MK2” show which returns to The Jury’s Inn, Milton Keynes on January 31st will see Se7en member Burchill take on Paul McSherry in a Milton Keynes Streetfight, Marc Massa challenges Paul Malen and Gene Munny will take on one member of You Got This, Bro.

HOPE have kept the momentum rolling by announcing three awesome matches for their upcoming “Evolution 32: Keep Your Hopes Up High & And Your Down Low” event that takes place at the Forest Town Arena, Mansfield on February 19th. We will see; The Hunter Brothers take on The GZRS (Tom Irvin & Sebastian), “King Of Flight 2015” winner Chris Tyler will face Scotland’s Lionheart and Champion Jack Jester will defend his HOPE Title against Chris Dickinson.

Britannia Wrestling Promotions will host “Main Event: January” from the Denbigh Town Hall, Denbigh on January 23rd and have already started to compile an amazing card for the event which will include; ‘Liverpool’s No.1’ Zack Gibson vs ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster, D.I.S.C.O. Dan (formerly known as SuperDave) vs Dan Evans, D.I.S.C.O. Bert will be in a Handicap Match against the Lil Punx, The YOLO Squad (Ethan Silver & Drew Parker) vs The Island Brothers (Rio & Tabu), an 8-Man Tag Team Match featuring The Red Right Hand (Don Meacho, Dave DelVecchio, Big Exe & Philthy Woodvine) battling Team BWP (Dean McManus, Pyro, Robbie Caine & Ry Lloyd) and the BWP Champion of Wales, Danxig will be defending his title against The Babyfaced Pitbull.

Alpha Omega Wrestling present “Outbreak” from the Morecombe Winter Gardens, Morecombe on January 23rd and what a show it’s turning out to be as we will see; Cyanide teaming with RJM & Ryan Hunter to tackle James Drake, Barricade and a trainee of Drake’s choosing, Chris Ridgeway vs Sam Bailey, Lana Austin & Alexis Rose face Nikki Storm & Carmel Jacob, Chris Kollins goes one-on-one will multi-time Ohio Valley Wrestling Champion Chris Silvio, the AOW Tag Team Champions Big Sexxxy (Sexy Kev & Shaun Vassey) put their titles on the line against The Referendum (Bobby Roberts & Liam Thomson) in a Streetfight, Joe Hendry challenges AOW Champion Stixx and the one and only Johnny Phere will have the mic and ring to talk about what’s left for him after his defeat to Kollins last December.

Kamikaze Pro will have Nixon Newell face Toni Storm in singles competition at their upcoming “Hostile Takeover 3” event which takes place at The Collingwood Centre on January 30th. Not only that, they’ve signed a HUGE 6-Man Tag Team Match between The Bigger Picture (Robbie X, Ryan Smile & Damian Dunne) who will take on the team of Pete Dunne & The Hunter Brothers (Jim & Lee Hunter) where ALL of the Kamikaze Pro Championships will be on the line. With the stipulation of whoever gets the pin will not only win the match, they will win the title from the person pinned.

They’ve now signed the first match for “Bad Apple” which will be held at The Cadbury Club, Bournville, Birmingham on February 21st as we will get to see ‘The All Day Star’ Ryan Smile take on former WWE United States & Intercontinental Champion Carlito in singles competition. We will also see the welcome return to the UK and debut to the company of NXT sensation Leva ‘Blue Pants’ Bates.
