Vertigo Pro Wrestling have added more matches to their January 30th, “Perfect Storm 1: Let Them Fight” event which comes from the Cardiff Masonic Hall, Cardiff. With #1 contender Chris Renfrew telling VPW management that he will face the Heavyweight Champion Dave Mastiff when he decides and not when they do, we will see a Six Man Throwdown Match with the winner meeting the Champ in the Main Event later that night. Chris Brookes and Mike Bird are the first two to be entered into this match with Ian Williams facing Panda Cub in the 2nd of their Best of 3 Series. Eddie Dennis will take on Lou King Sharp and Bishop will go up against Super Oktane in the 1st Round of the VPW Calling Spots Open Championship Tournament.

Tidal Wrestling‘s “Silent Nightmare: End of Days” will come to Leeds University Union on December 13th and will feature a host of talent working the UK scene right now. We will see; Rampage Brown take on Tommy End, a 3-Way between El Ligero, Liam Lazarus & Dara Diablo which will include No DQ & No Countout, Joseph Conners will square off against Pete Dunne, Addy Starr will take on Alexis Rose, The Glee Club (JD Boom & Lana Austin) will team to take on Ruby Summers & Violet O’Hara, Martin Kirby & Nathan Cruz will battle Damian Dunne & Chris Brookes, Sam Wilder defends The Proven’s Open Championship against Chris Ridgeway and if Wilder wins then his fellow tag partner, Caz Crash will defend the same title against ‘The Armbar Superstar’ Dan James.

UKWE Wrestling have crowned a NEW Champion as Ruby Summers defeated Erin Night early in the show to then take on Lana Austin in the co-Main Event and successfully pin her for the 3 count to become the UKWE Bombshells Champion. Dan James issued an Open Challenge for his ‘Testing Ground’ trophy and faced high flyer, El Excentrico in a singles match but decided that he would leave during, awarding the win to his opponent via Countout. However his trophy would stay with him as like a UKWE belt, it can’t change unless via pinfall or submission. The Tag Team Champions Drake & Dragon (accompanied by Roxxy) were in action as they took on JG Nash & Ruffneck who actually beat the champs but were then told by Drake that they didn’t say the titles were on the line so they’re still the champions. The ‘Primate’ Jason Prime was victorious in his match with Liam Lazarus in a Primate Rules Match with meant that falls could count anywhere and weapons could also be used. The end came when referee Craig Anderson was hit by Prime (unintentionally?) which brought out the Tag Champs who had been ejected earlier and as they were distracting Liam, Roxxy used the Heavyweight belt to hit Liam over the head which lead to Prime getting the win. This was an awesome match and hope these two face each other again.
