Unfortunately due to a serious knee injury, your TW High Octagon Champion, Dave Carbon will no longer be appearing at Target Wrestling’s “Live At The Venue” on September 11th at The Venue in Carlisle. We have been told that he has now had to forfeit the title as he will be out of action for sometime. I hope for a quick recovery and to see him in the ring real soon. As this has happened, Target Wrestling management have decided to replace Carbon with Mark Coffey who will team with former WWE superstar Hurricane Helms to take on the team of T-Bone & Bubblegum.
Due to the TW High Octagon Championship now been vacated, there will be a one-on-one match between Spyda and James Scott to determine a NEW champion at “Live In Lockerbie” from the Lockerbie Town Hall, Lockerbie on September 12th.

PROGRESS Wrestling produced yet another amazing show this past Sunday when they presented “Chapter 21: You Know We Don’t Like To Use The Sit Down Gun” where all the matches were first class.

Results from the show are; The Origin (Nathan Cruz & El Ligero) def. The London Riots (James Davis & Rob Lynch). Ligero would be powerbombed onto some chairs to the outside which left Cruz on his own, however, Zack Gibson came to the ring and passed what was a fork to Cruz. While distracting the referee, Nathan Cruz would then use it to help secure the 3 count with a pin. Jack Gallagher was able to make ‘Pastor’ William Eaver submit in their match, Zack Gibson def. Eddie Dennis with a low blow followed by an inside cradle for the win after Nathan Cruz who had accompanied Gibson to the ring would interfere. Jimmy Havoc and The Regression (Paul Robinson & ‘The Omega’ Issac Zercher) came to the ring wanting a #1 Contender’s match against anyone, right now. So, Jim Smallman, tells Havoc that they thought this would happen and tells him that he can have it, it’ll be a NO DQ match against… Paul Robinson and if either of them lay down for the other one, they’ll be fired.

Paul Robinson def. Jimmy Havoc in an ECW style match which included Havoc hitting a piledriver though a table, Paul Robinson using a staple gun on Havoc’s sensitive region and finally hitting a foot stomp to the head on him through fluorescent that were set up on chairs for the win. After the match, Jim Smallman helped Havoc up to his feet and received a standing ovation from the fans. Kris Travis made his return to the Ballroom with a win over ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll who after the match shared the celebration but then attacked Travis with the Chicken Wing twice, which led to security trying to break it up and then The GZRS, Eddie Dennis and commentator, RJ Singh to get him off.

The Sumarian Death Squad (Tommy End & Michael Dante) retained their belts when the Open Challenge for the Tag Team Titles were answered by non other than ROH’s, Roderick Strong & Adam Cole in what was an awesome match. Finally in the Main Event, Will Ospreay retained his PROGRESS Title after hitting his 630 splash on Mark Haskins for the win in yet again another outstanding performance from the two.

I’m amazed by PROGRESS Wrestling and the wrestlers themselves to perform at such a high standard every time they put on a show and all I can say is keep up the good work guys, I don’t think I’ve seen or heard about a poor/bad show from them and it is reflected in the fans who sell out the venue in record times.
