British Wrestling Round-Up (5/10/15)

Added by Michael Jolly

Revolution Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling joined forces this past weekend to present “Uprising” and “Global Wars UK” for two nights of amazing wrestling. The results of both events can be found on our results section of this very site and you can also read our review of the show too, so I won’t spoil it for you. All I will say is that every match could have been classed as a main event so hats off to both promotions.

Bette Noire will challenge former friend Viper for the FF Championship at Fierce Females “Freaky Friday” which will be held at the Walkabout, Glasgow on October 30th. This has been brewing since May when at “Rumble In The Jungle” Bette Noire turned her back on her partner and attacked her from behind. Is revenge on the cards for Viper or will Noire be able to become the new champion? NXT’s ‘Blue Pants’ will also be making her debut for the company.

UKWE Wrestling have added even more of the U.K.’s best to their Halloween SuperShow “Voltage” which will be held at the Control Nightclub, Leeds on October 31st. Wrestlers confirmed to appear will be; UKWE Heavyweight Champion Valkabious, UKWE Bombshells Champion Lana Austin, UKWE Tag Team Champions Drake & Dragon, Toni Storm, Ruby Summers, CJ Banks, El Ligero, Erin Night and ‘Primate’ Jason Prime.

Combat Sports Federation have announced that at “Saturday Night Slam” held at the Bridgwater Town Hall, Bridgewater on October 24th, we will see Kay Jutler defend his CSF All Nations Championship against challenger Tyler Hawke and Leva Bates who is better known as NXT’s ‘Blue Pants’ will wrestle Pollyanna in singles competition.

Rise: England will be coming back to The Temple, Leeds on November 6th for “Violence Party 4” and have stated that the first match to be signed for the event will see The Fabulous Bakewell Boys (Jerry & Steakly Bakewell) take on Just Uz (BT Gunn & Stevie Xavier) in tag team action and the debut of Jack Jester.

Tommaso Ciampa will be making his return to PROGRESS Wrestling on October 18th at The Electric Ballroom, Camden, London for “Chapter 22: Trust, Encouragement, Reward, Loyalty, Satisfaction” when he will face Mark Haskins. Also scheduled will be Paul Robinson hoping to become the new PROGRESS Champion when he challenges Will Ospreay for the title. Tyler Bate will take on ‘Pastor’ William Eaver in the first round of the Natural PROGRESSion Series.

Fight Club: PRO have announced 3 matches to their October 23rd annual “Project Mayhem IV” show which will be held at the Planet Nightclub in Wolverhampton. These will be; Tommy End taking on Mike Bird for the first time in one-on-one competition, TNA’s Mark Andrews will return to team with his F.S.U. partner Eddie Dennis as they will face The Hunter Brothers (Jim & Lee Hunter) and finally we will see a Grudge Match between current Infinity trophy holder Chris Brookes and Nixon Newell.

The Hunter Brothers will team with former WWE/WCW/TNA star X-Pac to take on The Bigger Picture (Kamikaze Pro Champion Robbie X, Ryan Smile & Damian Dunne) in a 6-Man Tag Team Main Event Match at Kamikaze Pro‘s “Bank On It 3” show which will be held on October 25th, from the Meadway Sports & Social, Birmingham. Muti-Champion and one of the most famous Luchadores in the world, Juventud Guerrera will be making his way back to the company and we will also see the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Kamikaze Pro have also stated that they will reveal the participants for the MITB Match all this week with the first two being El Ligero and Clint Margera

Leicester Championship Wrestling have now included two Title Matches for their “Hallowicked” show that will be held on October 31st, Brockington College, Leicester. Chris Tyler will be defending his LCW Young Guns Championship against T.K. Hayward and Joseph Conners will try to keep hold of his LCW Heavyweight Championship as he will take on Jurgen Heimlich. In what I think will be the match of the evening, we will see a 6-Man Tag Team Main Event Match where Team X-Pac (Stixx, John Shipley & former WWE/WCW/TNA star X-Pac) will take on The Brotherhood (Paul Malen, H.C. Dyer & Barricade). The stipulation in this match is that if Team X-Pac were to win then John Shipley will regain control of the company. However if they don’t win their match, Stixx has stated that he will retire from the company.

Pro Chaos Wrestling can confirm that ‘Pastor’ Will Eaver, Scotty Essex and Chuck Cyrus will join Paul Robinson and the King of Chaos Champion Mike Bird at “Total Chaos”. This event will see no matches announced before the show and then the participants will be drawn at random in this very unique format which will be held at Hanham Community Centre, Hanham, Bristol on October 24th.

We have also been informed that the one and only Grado will be coming to Chaos “#19” on February 6th at The BAWA Club, Bristol.

Shropshire Wrestling Alliance will present “British Lions 2015” from the Dawley Town Hall, Telford, October 31st. We will see a British Lions Tournament where the five winners will all meet in the final facing Champion, Tyler Bate in a 6-Way for the SWA British Lions Title. The four participants already announced for the event will be TNA’s Mark Andrews facing Chris Ridgway in one qualifier and Mike Bird will battle Dan Moloney in the other. We will also see women’s action as Nixon Newell will be in singles competition with Leva Bates aka NXT’s ‘Blue Pants’.

The first two teams to be announced for this are Super Smash Brothers (Uno & Dos) and DNA (James Davis & Darrell Allen), you will also see former WWE star and one half of Cryme Tyme, JTG.
