BIG News For The UK In Wrestling

Added by Stuart Rodgers

So just this past Friday the news broke that on the huge Easter weekender Fight Club: PRO announced for their Dream Tag Team Invitational that joining them  for the show in Wolverhampton would be The Elite of Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks and they will be facing British Strong Style who of course are Pete Dunne, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate. Just to confirm, even thought FCP will also be holding shows in Manchester & London on Saturday & Sunday respectively The Elite are for the Wolverhampton show ONLY and when the show is released on VOD/DVD the match won’t be featured due to contractual obligations.

These are added to an already stacked roster for these shows. Previously announced are PENTA EL ZERO M, Rey Fenix, Marty Scurll, Zack Sabre Jr, Sami Callihan, Mark Andrews, Eddie Dennis, Shane Strickland, Travis Banks, Chris Brookes and tonight as of writing this announced was Dan Moloney, Mark Haskins and making his FCP debut – WILL OSPREAY.

The Wolverhampton show has had massive interest and due to this, they have moved the show from their home of The Fixxion Warehouse to a bigger venue and this is the Diamond Banqueting Suite which is just across the road from Fixxion. For those travelling to the city for the first time, it is situated in the city centre so not too far from the train station.

For tickets, while they are still available head to here you will be able to pick up tickets for  Manchester (The Union, Manchester, Met University, 16/04/17) and London (The Bush Hall, 17/04/17) head over to  – Wolverhampton, despite being a bigger venue is SOLD OUT but if you want tickets if they become available as FCP will be taling to the venue to see if they can increase them, send and email to fightclubpro.bigcartel/contact with your details.

In other big news that came out this week, US promotion CHIKARA Pro announced they would holding their prestigious King Of Trio’s tournament right here in the UK, Birmingham to be precise between September 1st & 3rd. it will be held for all 3 nights at the Methodist Central Hall. They annouced it was on Carrs Lane in the city but if this is the venue then it’s in a different location but still not far at all really from the 3 main train stations in the city centre.

This is great news for CHIKARA fans in the UK. The last couple of years they have been over here on tour but now, to beholding KOT over here is amazing news. Stay tuned to both CHIKARA on twitter and The Indy Corner for more details.

I recently conducted a little interview with CHIKARA founder Mike Quackenbush which you can listen to HERE
