The Weekend Of Singh

Added by Alex Cupid

So I’ve been on shows for a year!

It’s been a year from sometime in early November!

Which means I’m very new and my ears are very much open!

So this weekend came off the back of me being pretty damn ill and tired. I put over that flu real strong.

The weeks only show was in Hawkinge, Kent a place so close to France you can hear French radio….incredible.

SEPW (South East Pro Wrestling) is truly a hidden gem. Constant sell out interactive crowds and a unique diverse range of characters such as Will Power and Van Wicked. I made a cameo appearance during the summer in a rumble match so it’s good to finally return in a singles match against a worker who I have an immense amount of respect for.

I call him Uncle.

Y’all know him as RJ Singh.

Christmas Chaos Match in front of a sold out family crowd?

Bring. It. On.

It was an incredible experience to wrestle in a match without Germans and crazy piledrivers. I became Santa Cupid and handed out Christmas crackers and packs of skittles to the kids in the crowd.

Very fun match and I’m now the King Of Christmas!

However, on Sunday some sobering news dropped. I’ll copy from RJ’s post.

” I have made the decision to take an indefinite hiatus from pro wrestling effective immediately.

I apologise to all fans, promoters and wrestlers that I was due to work with but I hope you understand and respect my decision.

It is highly likely that I will also be removing my social media accounts by the end of the year.

I wish everyone a very successful 2018.

RJ”

So I’m sure he wouldn’t want a Hall Of Fame montage or anything, but he is taking a break from wrestling and without him…

Alex Cupid doesn’t exist.
Alot of people won’t exist with his influence.

Literally hundreds of people have reached out to say thank you to him. While I’m close to RJ it’s still incredible to see the impact he has had on people’s lives.

That’s inspirational.

Life is a journey and I know whatever direction my Uncle RJ has to take, he’ll smash it and continue to be my main inspiration in wrestling .

#AlwaysForward

Until next time.

Much Love.
